Usage

Carpets are purely decorative blocks as in they serve no practical function.

They do not have colision with players, mobs or items and will not affect the pathfinding of mobs.

They generally can only be placed on solid blocks, but there are a few exceptions such as leaves, tree wood and crafting tables.

Carpets can be pushed by pistons and pulled by sticky pistons and slime blocks.

Blocks affected by gravity will drop themselves when falling on carpet.
