Mine with:Hand, Axes
Physics:Grows, breaks if block underneath is not dirt or bamboo
Found naturally:Yes

Bamboo is an alternative of sticks, and is commonly found in the plains biome.

Bamboo can be broken with anything, but using an axe will speed up the process.

Rafts drop bamboo when broken.

Natural generation

Bamboo spawns in mountains, plains, and forest biomes. It can grow up to 10 blocks tall.

Bamboo can be used to fuel a furnace, allowing to smelt ½ items per bamboo. It can also be used as a replacement for sticks when crafting.

If bamboo does not have dirt, grass, or another piece of bamboo below it, it will drop as an item.

Crafting ingredient

Six pieces of bamboo are required to craft a raft.
