Diamond ore is a rare ore in Mine Blocks. It can only be found at nearly the bottom of the world.
Obtaining
It requires at least an iron pickaxe to be mined. When mined, it drops one diamond, which is required to craft the best tier of tools: diamond tools, therefore making it a very sought-after mineral. It also drops 10-12 experience points.
Natural Generation
Diamond ore generates at level 40 or below.

It is not advisable to mine this ore with a pickaxe enchanted with silk touch as this will cause the ore to drop itself, which would then require The player to smelt it, wasting fuel.
