Contents
Obtaining
Mining
Topaz can be obtained by mining topaz ore. Mining the ore with an Iron Pickaxe or higher gives the player 1-2 topaz, as well as some XP. If the ore is mined with a pickaxe enchanted with the fortune enchantment, it will potentially drop more topaz.
Natural generation
Topaz can be found in loot chests of dungeons, ruins and skyholds, with a 21.8% possibility of topaz appearing in stack of 1-5.
Crafting
The block of topaz can be crafted back into nine topaz.
Usage
Nine bits of topaz can be crafted into a block of topaz. This is a more compact way of storing topaz, as one block contains nine topaz and still takes up the same amount of space.

Trivia
- The color of Topaz has been changed many times. In update 1.27 it was changed to an orangey-yellow color to avoid confusion with diamond ore. In real life it comes in a variety of colors
- Topaz is often joked about in the Mine Blocks community because of its uselessness.
- Zanzlanz has said he might consider using topaz as a currency to trade with villagers once they are added.
