Gold ore is a rare mineral block found underground in the Overworld.

Obtaining

If mined with an iron pickaxe or above, gold ore drops itself. Otherwise it drops nothing.

Natural Generation

Gold ore generates in place of stone underground below a certain y level in the Overworld in random veins.

Usage

Gold ore can be smelted in a furnace to produce a gold ingot, which is a raw mineral which can be used to craft armor, tools, and other useful items.
