Health is the amount of hit points the player can take before dying. The health meter 10 () is available in survival mode and in hardcore mode. Once the bar is empty, the player dies. When the player dies, their items will drop and they will teleport to their spawn point.
If the player has a bed and has used it, they will respawn next to the bed's location upon death. Not having a used bed in the world will result in them spawning at the initial seed's spawn point.
Ways of losing health
- Receiving fall damage.
- Drowning.
- Melting in lava or acid.
- Being attacked by a hostile mob.
- Suffocating in a block (such as sand).
- Falling into the void.
- Standing in fire.
- Being shot by a projectile.
- Being damaged by explosions.
- Starvation.
- Using wall glitches.
- Taking damage from a cactus.
- Being inflicted by harmful potion effects (Can be from potions)
- Using ender pearl
Trivia
- The maximum number of blocks the player can fall off without dying is 55.
