Easter eggs are hidden messages and jokes that can make references of events or things outside of the game world. Mine Blocks has some easter eggs that the player can find upon exploring or by doing specific tasks.

Naming Mobs

Naming mobs certain names can display secret skins.

When a rabbit is named "Moose" or "Toast", its skin will change to one which they do not naturally spawn with.

The "Moose" easter egg was added to the game in honor of a missing rabbit belonging to a friend of Zanzlanz, while the "Toast" one is taken directly from Minecraft.

There is a small chance that a rabbit named "Porcupine" will spawn naturally; these rabbits stay freeze in place and those who are renamed to it will freeze as well. This was originally a bug that Zanzlanz decided to leave in the game as an easter egg due to how random it was.

If you rename a squid to "Ghost", its texture will change to one with the word "ID" written on it. This is a tribute to GhostID, who is a fellow game developer and a friend to Zanzlanz, and whose birthday it was on the release date of 1.28 when squids were released.

Ender Pearl

Renaming an Ender Pearl to "Teleporter" on an anvil will change the Ender Pearl texture to the Teleporter one from The Henry Stickmin Collection. Using the Teleporter, Henry Stickmin will appear randomly near the player for a brief second.

J block

The J block is an extremely rare block generated only once per world (if the world was created with cheats and creative mode both turned off), and it's texture resembles the one from the default skin in Mine Blocks 2.

End island

In the End dimension, if the player goes rightwards of the main island, they can find a secret island with a sign on it saying "Fus Ro Dah!". Fus Ro Dah is a magical spell used in a dragon shout that summons a powerful force from the speaker's throat in the game Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It means "Force, Balance, and Push".
