The desert shrub is a plant that generates naturally in deserts.
Obtaining
If mined with shears, the desert shrub will drop itself, otherwise it drops 1-2 sticks.
Natural Generation
The desert shrub generates naturally in desert biomes.
Usage
The desert shrub can be placed on sand, dirt, or grass blocks. If it doesn't have one of these blocks underneath, it will break, dropping nothing.

Trivia
- The desert shrub is sometimes referred to as the dead bush or dry bush, causing it to be confused with the regular shrub.
- In the game's files, the shrub on sand texture is called "desert shrub", and the actual desert shrub is called the "dead bush".
Bugs
- 1.28: Unlike the regular shrub, the desert shrub cannot be placed on coarse dirt, even though it can be placed on dirt and grass.
