Leaves are a common block found on trees.

Obtaining
When mined with shears, leaves drop themselves.
When they are mined with any other tool, they have a chance of dropping saplings. Some leaves contain apples, lemons and oranges, making them an easy source of food.
Usage
When source wood blocks are removed, the leaves blocks will decay or disappear, dropping any fruit they may have contained or occasionally saplings.
