Netherrack is a block found in the Nether.
The only way to obtain this block is by mining it or getting as a mob-drop from a Nether Eye.
It can be smelted into Nether Brick , which then can be crafted into Nether Bricks a construction type of block.
Trivia
- If you use flint and steel on it the fire never burns out (supposedly).
- Doesn't give much light off if you light it with flint and steel though.
- The design of the Netherrack has been updated in the update 1.27, such as Water, Lava, Acid, Dirt, Obsidian, Sign, Odd Rock, Odd Rock Ore, Topaz, Fiber, Dragon scale, Moss, Raw chicken, Cooked chicken, chicken nugget, Golden apple seed, Golden apple sapling, Clay, Paper, Lever and Rope.
