Fireball is a projectile thrown by mobs such as ghasts and blazes.

Behavior

The fireball flies in a straight trajectory, unaffected by gravity. Blocks nearby may be set on fire from the explosion.

Upon direct contact with a mob, it can deal 7 (♥♥♥♥). Damage decreases the further a mob is from the explosion.

A fireball's trajectory can only be changed once, either by hitting it or shooting it with another projectile.

Upon contact with water, the fireball will be extinguished and unable to set blocks on fire. If a fireball goes into lava after being extinguished, it will be set on fire again. If it goes into acid, the fireball is completely removed, preventing any explosion and fires.
