Nether portal
Nether portals are player-built structures that allow the player to travel to the Nether dimension.
Building a Nether portal
Building a Nether Portal requires six portal stone blocks arranged in a U-shape, with four blocks placed horizontally as the base and two blocks on top, one at each end of the base.
Usage
Nether portals are used to travel to the Nether dimension. To activate a Nether portal, the player needs to light it on fire by using a flint and steel on its inner blocks. The player can travel to the Nether by staying inside a Nether portal for a few seconds. Another portal is generated at the spawn point in the Nether that can be used to travel back to the Overworld. Contrary to its Minecraft counterpart, mobs and items cannot travel through the Nether portal.

- The variation of the portal compared to its Minecraft counterpart is due to the game being 2D.
- Every 0-60 seconds, the portal will emit an ominous ambient noise.
- The Portal Stone can be removed without destroying the portal itself.
- Despite being unobtainable in survival mode, portal blocks can be obtained in creative mode with the pick block function.
- When in the inventory, a Nether portal block is simply called "Portal".
- Nether portals created in the End can take the player to the Nether. However, entering the portal in the Nether, will always take the player to the Overworld.
- Falling blocks break when they fall in a Nether portal.
