Obtaining
Topaz ore is a mineral found in the deep of the world. When is mined with a stone pickaxe or better, it drops 1-2 topaz and 4-5 experience points.

Trivia
- The color of topaz in-game has been changed many times. It was originally blue, then changed to yellow. After that it was changed back to blue. Then, it changed to yellow-orange.
- Though there is no record of when topaz ore was added, it's image file was created on 9/13/2011, between 1.15 and 1.17, and so it is assumed that it was added in 1.16
