Usage

Coarse dirt is a decorative block that is often used in the construction of sidewalks and paths.

It differentiates itself from regular dirt by not being able to turn into grass.

Tilling coarse dirt with a hoe turns it into farmland.

Sugarcane, long grass, shrubs, mushrooms, bamboo and saplings can be placed or planted on coarse dirt, however, saplings and mushrooms planted on coarse dirt will not grow, even with the use of bonemeal.
