The diamond block is an expensive block made completely out of diamond.
Obtaining
If mined with an iron pickaxe or above, the diamond block drops itself.
Crafting
The diamond block is made out of nine diamonds.
Usage
The diamond block can be used as a decoration block, or to show off how long a player has spent mining.
It is also often used as a more compact form as a diamond - since there are 9 diamonds per item, more can be placed inside a container or inventory.
