Carpets are thin decorative blocks crafted from wool. They retain in the same colors as the wool they are crafted from.
Obtaining
Carpets can be broken by hand. There is no speed increase on breaking carpet with any tool. It will also drop in contact with flowing water.

Usage
Carpets are a purely decorational block. They can be placed on top of most blocks, excluding some like liquids, backdrops, doors, bamboo and flowers. Carpets can be pushed by a piston and pulled by a sticky piston and slime block. If falling blocks fall on carpet, they will break and drop themselves.
Carpets are avaliable in the following colors and are crafted with their respective wool colors:
