The cauldron can be crafted with seven iron ingots.

Usage

The cauldron's inside can be viewed by the player by placing the cursor over it, if the player is within a few blocks of it. The player and other entities can walk through the cauldron.

The cauldron can be filled with water by shift clicking it with a bucket of water. Once filled, a cauldron can be used to fill an empty bucket by using a bucket on the cauldron; this empties the cauldron. One third of the water can be removed from a cauldron by using an empty bottle on it.
