Shears can be used to delicately obtain certain items, such as leaves, grass, shrubs, and more. Shears can also be used to collect wool from sheep without killing them.
Crafting
Use two iron ingots diagonal from each other to craft shears.

Bugs
Shift-clicking with shears has no effect on some systems. (But shift-clicking with flint & steel works as expected.)
