The Ender dragon is currently the only boss mob in Mine Blocks.

It is very hard to kill! You'll probably need diamond armor, a diamond sword, and a reasonable amount of arrows or bone shurikens. It drops 60 Dragon scales, an active Ender Portal, a chest containing 8 diamonds, and the dragon egg on death. The ender dragon causes massive damage to anything but obsidian, obsidian backdrop, bedrock, endstone, and ender gem ore.
+
The Ender dragon has 333 health.
 +
If it is naturally spawned, it will drop some Dragon_Scale dragon scale and Experience_orb_2 experience when killed, and also spawns a chest with the Ender Dragon Egg and 16 diamonds.

Enderdragon1.png

The Ender dragon is currently the only boss mob in Mine Blocks.

The Ender dragon has 333 (♥ × 166.5) health. If it is naturally spawned, it will drop some Dragon_Scale dragon scale and Experience_orb_2 experience when killed, and also spawns a chest with the Ender Dragon Egg and 16 diamonds.

Spawning

The ender dragon can only spawn naturally once when the player first enters the End. You can also spawn it with an ender dragon spawn egg. The only way to obtain the spawn egg is with the /give spawn_egg 1 0 {type:"enderdragon"} command.

Commands

The ender dragon can be spawned with commands while cheats are enabled on the world, using the /summon enderdragon command.

You can also add data tags to customize the ender dragon. Two examples include:

 • /summon enderdragon 1 ~ ~ {health:5, drops:[{item:{id:"diamond"}, quantity:5, bonus:3}]}
 • /summon enderdragon 1 ~ ~ {name:"Ender Boss", health:500, defaultDrops:0, drops:[{item:{id:"ender_gem"}, quantity:10, bonus:3}]}

Behavior

The dragon has two attacks:

 • Charge attack: The dragon charges at the player. It does about 6 (♥♥♥) hearts of damage
 • Explosive flame wave attack: The dragon spits out a lot of small fireballs. They do 2 (♥) heart each and they can destroy everything except the blocks in the End Dimension (Those are obsidian, obsidian backdrops, bedrock, enderstone, and ender gem ore).

Once the dragon is killed, her death animation is played and a portal to the overworld is generated as well as a chest that contains 16 Diamond diamonds and the Ender_Dragon_Egg ender dragon egg.

Drops

The ender dragon will drop 40 levels of Experience_orb_2 experience orbs and 60 Dragon_Scale dragon scales upon death.
