Farmland is used to farm seeds. It is created when a hoe plows dirt and there is water in the block next to it (The water can also be placed either 2 or 3 blocks away but the soil must be 1 block higher than the ground.) To plow dirt activate the hoe tool and right-click on the dirt. Its only known purpose is to use in making a farm.
Trivia
- This dirt block does not have grass on it.
- If the water block is removed then the farmland turns back into a dirt block and drops the seeds planted on top of it.
