The golden apple is a food item that gives the player regeneration.

When mined, the golden apple in leaves drops a golden apple.

Golden apples can be found in 21.8% of loot chests in stacks of 1.

The golden apple can be crafted using eight gold ingots and an apple.

The golden apple heals 3 hunger points, heals 1 heart directly, and gives 60 seconds of regeneration for a total of 41 hearts healing.

Golden apples can be crafted into golden apple seeds using the normal 2x2 crafting grid.
