Obtaining
Gravel
Flint can be obtained by mining gravel. There is normally a 1 in 10 chance for a gravel block to drop flint. For every level of Fortune enchantment, the chances increase by 2, in such a way that a level 1 fortune enchantment will result in a 1 in 8 chance to find flint, level 2 in a one 1 in 6 chance, and level 3 in a 1 in 4 chance.
Natural Generation
Flint can be found in 21.8% of loot chests in stacks of 1-4.
