Steak (cooked beef) is a food item that heals 3 hunger points to you or 5 health points to dogs.
Obtaining
Steak is the result of cooking raw beef into a furnace. You can also obtain steak by killing a cow, mooshroom or a cowctus while it is on fire. If the cow is killed using a weapon with the Looting enchantment, the maximum number of steak drops increases by 1 per level.
