Rain is a kind of weather that occurs in Mine Blocks. During a rainstorm, the sky gets darker, allows monsters to spawn on the surface. Rain only falls from the cloud level; going above the clouds shows a sky during clear weather. Rain will also put out fires and hydrate soil. -Zombies and skeletons will stop burning in the rain. -It does not rain in the Desert biome.
