A chicken will produce an egg approximately once every 4 minutes, depending on random chance.
Usage
The egg can be used, along with wheat, sugar and buckets of milk to create an cake using a crafting table.

An egg can be smelted in a furnace to produce a cooked egg.

They can be thrown by the player or a dispenser.
