Fireballs are projectiles thrown by mobs such as ghasts and blazes. These Fireballs take 3.5 Hearts from you. And if they throw more than 3 fireballs at you without armor you are dead.
Curiosities
When you are going to be attacked with the fireball, you can hit the projectile to deflect it to another place.
If the projectile goes into a pool of water, the fire that the ball has is removed. And if it goes to a pillar of acid, the ball disappears.
