Sneaking allows the player to move slower and avoid falling off cliffs, and getting damaged from cactus or magma block. However, this doesn't happen when a Cowctus attacks.

How to use the Sneaking option
To sneak, the player needs to press S. The character will get slightly shorter and shuffle around until the key is released. This is useful when one is building a row of blocks in the air and wants to avoid falling off.

The Sneaking option is having 2 frames. You can check it and edit textures of these frames by editing Skins.
