The trap door can be mined with anything, but an axe is fastest.
Crafting
The trap door can be crafted with six wooden planks. The recipe produces two trap doors.

Usage
The wooden door can be opened or closed by shift-clicking or by redstone current. When open, it allows the player and other entities to walk through it, very much like a crafting table. When closed, it acts as a solid block.
