Coal is a common mineral obtained from coal ore.

Mining

Coal is dropped by coal ore if mined with a pickaxe. The amount of coal dropped can be increased using the fortune enchantment.

Natural Generation

Coal can be found in 21.8% of loot chests in stacks of 1-6.

Crafting

Nine pieces of coal can be crafted back from the coal block.

Trivia

  • The texture for coal is no different to the one of charcoal.
