If mined with shears or interacts with water, moss drops itself.
Natural Generation
Moss spawns on cobblestone in ruins.
Rain
Moss has a chance of spawning on stone and cobblestone blocks that are in contact with rain.
Usage
Moss can only be placed on stone and cobblestone.
Crafting Ingredient
Moss is used in the crafting recipe for moss stone or Green Wool, which can be used for decoration. This is currently it's only use.

Trivia
- While moss can be placed on stone, it cannot be placed on any ore or moss stone. It also cannot be placed on any of the stairs, slabs, or backdrops related to stone.
- Moss used to be picked up with an item called the broom. It is now collected using shears.
