A egg is an item that is laid by chicken at random times. They can be thrown by the player or a dispenser. Once thrown, the egg has a 20% chance to spawn a chicken. A normal chicken will produce an egg once every 4 minutes, depending on random chance. A flaming chicken will produce a fire egg about once every 2.5 minutes.
