Snow is an environmental event in which snow falls from the clouds and gathers as snow on solid blocks. It is observed during rain or thunderstorms in snowy regions.
Rain and snow are stopped at the start of each day, either by the player sleeping in a bed or by waiting for dawn.
The snow event can be stopped in creative mode using the command /weather set clear.
