The wooden pressure plate is a block that gives off redstone power when it has the player, an entity, or mob on it.
Obtaining
The wooden pressure plate can be broken with anything.
Crafting
Wooden pressure plates are crafted with two wooden planks.

Usage
The wooden pressure plate can be placed on top of any solid block. If a wooden pressure plate does not have a block below it, it will drop as an item.
Redstone Output
The wooden pressure plate gives off redstone power if the player, a mob, or an item entity is on it. It is unique because it even gives off power if items are dropped on it, which the regular stone pressure plate does not do.
When activated, the wooden pressure plate becomes thinner to show that it has been pressed down into the block below it.
