The movement of the player is controlled by the keyboard and the cursor is moved by the mouse.

Pleas note that a lot the controls can be changed under the game's options. These are the controls by default.

| Esc | Open pause menu and exit inventory, task list, and commands |
| F2 | Take screenshot |
| 1 through 9 | Select hot bar item |
