Netherrack is a block found in the Nether.
The only way to obtain this block is by mining it or getting as a mob-drop from a Nether Eye.
It can be smelted into a Nether Brick , which then can be crafted into Nether Bricks a construction type of block.
History
- 1.27: The texture of netherrack was updated.
Trivia
- If you use flint and steel on it the fire never burns out (supposedly).
- Doesn't give much light off if you light it with flint and steel though.
