Glass is a decorative block smelted by putting sand in a furnace.
Contents
Obtaining
Glass drops itself if broken with a tool enchanted with Silk Touch. Otherwise, it drops 1-2 glass shards.
Crafting
Glass can be colored by combining it with a dye color in the crafting interface.
Glass can be crafted out of four glass shards.
Smelting
Glass can be made by smelting sand.

Three empty bottles, which are a type of potion, can be crafted using three pieces of glass.

Using one glass and dye, you can get a stained glass of up 16 different colors depending on which dye the Player uses. The player can also "re-dye" a Glass that has already been colored.
Trivia
- Along with glowstone and redstone lamps, it is one of the few blocks that make a shattering sound. When walked on, though, it will make the generic stone sound.
