Flint can be obtained by mining gravel. There is normally a 1 in 10 chance for a gravel block to drop flint. For every level of fortune enchantment, the chances increase by 2, in such a way that a level 3 fortune enchantment will result in a 1 in 4 chance to find flint.
Flint can be used to craft Flint and Steel, Spears, and Arrows.
