Times of Day
There are different times of day, including Day and Night.
Day
In daytime, there is a lot of light, best time in survival to do whatever is needed, like cutting trees and mining Stone or Ores. The day, however, lasts for some time before turning to night.
Night
Nighttime is the most dangerous time in Mine Blocks or Minecraft. Mobs spawn at unlit or poorly lit areas, causing trouble for you. However, when time progresses, it becomes day, causing certain mobs like Skeleton Archers and Zombies to burn.
Trivia
In creative mode, you can set daytime with the inventory button Skip Night, or using the Commands /time set 1
