Farmland is used to farm seeds. It is created when a hoe plows [[Dirt|dirt]] and there is [[Water|water]] in the block next to it (The water can also be placed either 2 or 3 blocks away but the soil must be 1 block higher than the ground.) To plow dirt activate the hoe tool and shift-click on the dirt. It's only known purpose is to use in making a farm.
