Diamonds are one the the rarest gems/items in Mine Blocks. Diamonds are also the most important one. They are used to get to the Nether, and to craft an enchantment table. They are used in crafting the last type of armor that you can get in the Over World. Diamonds are also used in crafting the last and strongest types of tools. The most important diamond tools you would need is a sword and a pickaxe.
