Beetroot seeds are used to grow beetroot, which can be made into beet soup.

Usage

When a beetroot seed is planted, it will slowly grow into a beetroot crop. Breaking the fully grown crop yields 1-4 beetroot (although more can be obtained using the fortune enchantment), making it a renewable food source. However, unlike in Minecraft, beetroot cannot be converted into red dye, making red flowers the only source.

Obtaining

When you break long grass, you have a small, 6.25% chance of getting a beetroot seed. Fully grown beet crops drop 1 beetroot seed, but only when at the final growth stage.
