Snow is an event in which snow falls from the sky and gathers on the ground. It is caused by thunderstorms at dawn or at night. It can be stopped in creative mode by setting the weather to clear using the /weather set sunny command.
How the Snow event is working
As we can see here, we can see Snow Fall and the Snowflakes in the photo. Also there is in the photo a thunderstorm event.
