The glass shard is a fragment of glass that is dropped by it.
Contents
Obtaining
Glass drops 1-2 glass shards when broken, but those rates can improve when broken with a tool enchanted with the fortune enchantment:
Fortune Level | Glass Shards Dropped |
---|---|
No Fortune | 1 - 2 |
1 | 1 - 2 (Higher Chances) |
2 | 1 - 3 |
3 | 1 - 4 |
All tools break glass at the same speed and do not have durability consumed when doing so.
Glass shards will not drop if the silk touch enchantment is used.
The color of the glass has no effect on the shards it drops, there are no colored glass shards.
Usage
Four glass shards can be crafted back into a glass block.
