Slimes are hostile mobs which drop slimeballs.
Spawning
Slimes spawn deep underground in caves and unlit mines. They can spawn in three different sizes: large, medium and small.
Drops
Slimes drop experience points when killed or split.
Tiny slimes also drop 2-3 slime balls upon death.
Behavior
Slimes will lurk in caves bouncing around at will. They can jump 1 block high. They continue bouncing in random directions until they see a player in sight. Once they do, they will charge at the player, bouncing rapidly at them. The bigger the slime, the more ground it covers while bouncing.
Big and medium slimes do 1 heart of damage per second, but tiny slimes do no damage, though they still chase the player.
When killed, big slimes split into 2-4 medium slimes, and medium slimes into 2-4 tiny slimes, dropping experience.
