A thunderstorm is a event in Mine Blocks that causes rain to fall,and sometimes collect in holes. The screen and sky will turn dark no matter what time of the day it is. Thunderstorms may turn into snow if one the following conditions is met:
- it is dawn
- it is night
- it is evening
