Saplings are young trees that have yet to grow into full blocks of wood and leaves. Saplings have a chance to be dropped by leaves when destroyed or decayed. In order for a sapling to grow into a tree, it must be placed in an open, lit area on grass. After some amount of time, it will turn into a tree. This can be done instantly by shift+left clicking with Bone meal

- In Minecraft, you have to use bonemeal multiple times for the tree to grow quicker.
