Definition of "block"

Do placeable items such as torches count for blocks? What about placed redstone dust I need to know for my new Redstone Components category. Thanks much! --Doomquokka (talk) 19:34, 29 March 2019 (CDT)

  • Let's give a "block" the technical definition of being something that can be found placed in the game world.
An "item" can have a technical definition of something that can only exist in your inventory.
That way we can avoid having redundancy in the item category pages.
